Preventative Care, General Maintenance, Performance Prep & Recovery, Rehab Therapy, Pain Management

With these instruments, I can work with you to create a personalized care plan that meets your animal's unique needs. This may include preventative care to maintain optimal cell function and reduce risk to injury, general maintenance to provide pain management while slowing down the progression of their condition, performance optimization through preparation and recovery protocols, and comprehensive rehabilitation services to accelerate recovery - whatever is necessary to ensure your animal is functioning at their peak.

Treatment Programs

  • Preventative Care

    - For horses without a history of injuries or chronic conditions to prevent risk of injury and maintain health.

    - Good for young horses starting out.

    - Once started, a regular preventative program is every 2-3 weeks, or every week for big or elite prospects with a heavy work load. Normally no longer than a month in between sessions.

  • General Maintenance

    - For horses with diagnosed chronic conditions or a history of injuries. The goal is to provide non-invasive pain management while slowing down the progression and keeping the body healthy.

    - Once started, a regular maintenance program is every 1-2 weeks or once a month for older patients. Can also do consecutive days if condition is chronic (2-3x a week). Normally no longer than a month in between treatments.

  • Performance Optimization

    - Focused on athletic care with performance preparation and recovery sessions.

    - Good to do 3 consecutive sessions prior to a big show or rodeo.

    - Can treat 3-4 hours prior to running and a minimum of 1 hour after a run.

    - Once started a regular performance program is every 1-3 weeks, based on show schedule and performance level. Can also do stacked days for elite horses (2-3x a week every 1-3weeks). Normally no longer than a month in between treatments.

  • Rehabilitation

    - For diagnosed injuries, severe chronic conditions and wound care. Can accelerate recovery by up to 50%!

    - Programs are in 30 day increments based off of your veterinarians prognosis. With checkups in 30-45 days to see progress.

    - A rehabilitation program is typically 5 days a week with 1-2 days off depending on the case and patient.

Pre-Treatment Prep

-Please make sure your horse is clean and dry

-Please refrain from using fly spray, ointments, or liniments

- Please inform me of any medications or supplements your horse is on to ensure accurate readings and the best treatment quality

-Please inform me of previous injections done; injection sites have a waiting period of 10-14 days after administration in order to allow the injection to fully take effect.

-Please do not use any other modalities (Ex. magnetic blankets, magnawave, bemer, laser, PEMF) 72 hours before and after the treatment to ensure accurate readings and to allow the treatment to be the most beneficial to your horse

Horses cannot be treated if they are pregnant, have cancer, or have an active infection.

Post-Treatment Care

-Allow your horse to rest over night or at minimum several hours after treatment, unless it was a pre-performance treatment
